Delray Beach Film Festival 2009

Devon Jacobs has committed himself to Oak Wood Medical. He has decided he needs to either get help or he's going to kill himself. About a year ago his wife and young son were killed in a car accident and he has been haunted with guilt and loss ever since. That, however, is not all that is haunting Devon. The ghost of his son, Jamie, has been tormenting his life; silently appearing with devastating consequences.



After losing everything, Devon feels he has spiraled out of control. He walks into an ER and claims that if he doesn't receive help, he will kill himself. He shortly falls under the care of newly appointed psychiatrist, Dr. Marie Kelley.



Dr. Kelley finds out that Devon has not been able to visit his wife and son's grave. Every time he attempts the trip or even tries to morn their loss, he succumbs to a violent panic attack. This has been going on since the funeral and leading to a mental breakdown.



Dr. Kelley soon realized the haunting has been continuing. Although keeping a professional distance, she finds herself drawn into his story. It is up to Dr. Marie Kelley to find a way bring Devon back to a place where he can live life once again.
